What is a Volumetric flask?
A volumetric flask, also called a volumetric flask, is a kind of glassware for experiments. Similar to a measuring cylinder, it is used to measure the volume of a liquid and make it constant, and is characterized by higher measurement accuracy than a measuring cylinder. Although some volumetric flasks are made of plastic or resin, they are generally made of glass, and have a flat, spherical bottom and a long, slender cylindrical body (see Fig. 1). It can be sealed by closing the opening with a plug.
