What is a Gas tight syringe?

A gas-tight syringe is an airtight syringe that can handle not only liquids but also gases. The basic structure is the same as that of a general glass syringe for micrometering (microsyringe), but the PTFE tip at the tip of the plunger improves airtightness. Gas-tight syringes are usually sold as a set consisting of a syringe (outer cylinder) part and a plunger part.
