What is a Isobutane (C₄H₁₀)?

Isobutane (C₄H₁₀), also known as 2-methylpropane, is a structural isomer of butane. It is a colorless, flammable gas at room temperature with little to no odor, though odorants are often added for safety. Isobutane is commonly used in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), as a refrigerant (R-600a), propellant, and fuel.
