What is a Carbon disulfide (CS₂) ?
Carbon disulfide (CS₂) is a colorless to pale yellow volatile liquid with a strong, unpleasant odor resembling rotting radish or garlic. It is used widely as an organic solvent, especially for extraction processes and in the manufacture of viscose rayon and cellophane.
