What is a Trichlorobenzene?

Trichlorobenzene is an organic compound with the chemical formula C₆H₃Cl₃, consisting of a benzene ring substituted with three chlorine atoms. It exists in three positional isomers: 1,2,3-trichlorobenzene, 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene, and 1,3,5-trichlorobenzene, each with different industrial applications. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid or crystalline solid, used in the production of insecticides, herbicides, dye intermediates, lubricant additives, and as a high-temperature solvent.
