What is a Molybdenum trioxide (MoO₃)?

Molybdenum trioxide (MoO₃) is a white to pale yellow crystalline powder and one of the most important molybdenum compounds. It is primarily produced by roasting molybdenite (MoS₂) ores in the presence of oxygen.
