What is a Bismuth oxide (Bi₂O₃)?

Bismuth oxide (Bi₂O₃) is an inorganic compound composed of bismuth and oxygen, typically appearing as a yellow to pale orange powder. It rarely occurs in nature and is mainly synthesized industrially. Bi₂O₃ exists in several polymorphs, with the α-form (monoclinic system) being the most stable at room temperature.
