What is a Incandescent bulb?
An incandescent bulb is a type of light bulb in which electrical current passes through a filament (usually made of tungsten), causing it to heat up and emit light. It is one of the oldest types of light bulbs and has been widely used in households and public places since its invention. In an incandescent bulb, the filament reaches high temperatures, producing light as it emits heat. However, this type of bulb is energy-inefficient because much of the energy is lost as heat, leading to lower energy efficiency. As a result, incandescent bulbs are increasingly being replaced by LED bulbs and fluorescent lights in recent years.
Incandescent bulbs are often preferred for decorative purposes and specific interiors due to their soft, warm light, which creates a cozy ambiance. They also have a lower color temperature, offering a warmer, more inviting light.
