What is a Conductive paint?
Conductive paint is paint that has the ability to conduct electricity. It is usually made by mixing a conductive material (such as metal powder or conductive carbon) into the paint. Conductive paints are used for purposes such as electrical grounding, electromagnetic shielding, and electrostatic discharge. For example, it can be applied to the surface of buildings and structures to create a lightning strip to protect against lightning. It can also be applied to the housings of electronic and communication equipment to prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI). Furthermore, conductive paints are widely used in a variety of industries, including ground fault and shielding for equipment and components, and static electricity countermeasures.
