What is a Oil paint?
Oil-based paints are paints that are diluted with organic solvents such as thinner and benzine, and water-based paints are paints that are diluted with water. Oil-based paints are generally more durable and more expensive than water-based paints. It also has the characteristics of quick drying and high adhesion. On the other hand, because it uses an organic solvent as a diluent, it has the disadvantage that the odor of oil-based paints is stronger than that of water-based paints.
Application of Oil paint
Oil-based paints are superior to water-based paints in terms of durability and beautiful finish. Therefore, it is used not only for outdoor painting such as roof and exterior wall painting, but also for car body and ship painting. Even indoors, oil-based paints are used in places where high durability is required, such as flooring.
