What is a Lacquer?
Lacquer is a type of paint and is also called ""lacquer paint"". Lacquer is a paint in which a synthetic resin such as acrylic is dissolved in a volatile solvent such as toluene or acetone. Originally, lacquer was a solution of nitrocellulose in an organic solvent, but nowadays, it is used as a general term for quick-drying paints that use volatile solvents. It is mainly used in spray cans because it dries very quickly and is easy to handle.
Application of Lacquer
Lacquer paint is easy to handle among paints, has a large number of colors, and is suitable for painting in complicated places because it is a spray paint, and it is often used for plastic models. In addition, it dries quickly, is inexpensive, and becomes stronger as the painted surface hardens, so it is widely used for exterior wall painting, chests of drawers, and furniture such as tables. In addition, lacquer is also used as a paint for guitar musical instruments because it gives a high-class feel by polishing and giving it a luster.
