What is a Heat resistant paint?
Heat-resistant paint, as the name implies, is heat-resistant paint. The heat-resistant temperature of general paints is said to be about 70 to 100 degrees Celsius, while heat-resistant paints are 100 degrees Celsius or higher. The difference between general paints and heat-resistant paints is the resin used for the coating film components. Heat-resistant paint uses silicone resin, which is not easily decomposed by heat. In addition, ""constituent pigments"" that have the function of increasing the strength of the coating film are added, and the heat resistant temperature changes depending on the type.
Application of Heat resistant paint
Heat-resistant paint has cold resistance up to about -50 ° C and heat resistance up to about 600 ° C. Therefore, it is mainly used in places exposed to high temperatures. To give a familiar example, it is used for painting stoves, camping equipment, pots and pans, motorcycle mufflers, incinerators, boilers, etc.
