What is a Acrylic resin non-aqueous dispersion type paint?
Acrylic resin-based non-water-dispersive paint is an abbreviation for Non Aqueous Dispersion and is called NAD paint. In addition, it is also called "non-water dispersion type paint" or "non-water emulsion paint". Acrylic resin-based non-water-dispersible paint refers to solvent paint in which acrylic resin is atomized and dispersed in a solvent other than water. Generally, it is a weak solvent type paint that uses mineral spirit (thinner for paint) as a solvent.
Application of Acrylic resin non-aqueous dispersion type paint
In acrylic resin-based non-water-dispersed paint, the solvent evaporates during the drying process after painting, and the dispersed particles combine to form a coating film, which fixes the paint. Therefore, compared to synthetic resin emulsion paint (EP) that uses water as a solvent, it has advantages such as adhesion to the coating base and high water resistance to condensed water. Taking advantage of these merits, it is widely used recently for repainting of places such as outer walls and roofs.
