Fractionator / List of 5 manufacturers
What is a Fractionator?
A fractional distillation device is a device that separates an arbitrary liquid by repeating the distillation process from a mixture of two or more types of liquid. Liquids have a unique boiling point, and each liquid has a different value. By utilizing this property, the liquid can be separated by evaporating the liquid once and condensing it again. In a fractional distillation device, a higher purity liquid can be obtained by performing these distillation processes multiple times. It is composed of multi-stage shunt pipes and can efficiently extract low boiling point components.
Application of Fractionator
Fractional distillation is commonly used to separate components of petroleum and liquid air. Crude oil is composed of petroleum gas, naphtha, kerosene, light oil, heavy oil, etc., and each has a different boiling point. Therefore, by separating these by fractional distillation, they are used for different purposes (mainly fuel sources). Liquid air also aims to separate nitrogen, oxygen, argon, etc. from the air, and fractionates using the difference in boiling point. As a result, high-purity gas can be obtained in a large capacity.
