In the field of physics and chemistry equipment, there are distillation appliances used to remove solvents. It is a device that decompresses the inside of the device with a vacuum pump to evaporate the solvent, and cools and recovers the gas. In the semiconductor field, it is also used in vacuum vapor deposition equipment that forms a thin film on the surface of a substrate by heating a film-forming material such as metal or metal oxide in a vacuum to melt, evaporate, or sublimate it.
