What is a Sample tube?
Sample tubes are test tubes used for culturing, storing samples and reagents, and setting samples in centrifuges and analytical instruments in experiments and research in chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology. Capacity, shape, and material vary depending on the application. There are round-bottomed, flat-bottomed, conical tubes with a conical bottom, and spitz tubes with a conical point. Materials include synthetic resins such as polypropylene and polystyrene, reinforced hard glass, and borosilicate glass.
