What is a Homogenizer?

A homogenizer is a device that disperses and crushes substances in a liquid to homogenize them. In a broad sense, it also includes stirring powder with a propeller or the like. Particle crushing methods can be classified into crushing (high-pressure type), high-frequency crushing (ultrasonic type), and chopping (stirring type). The high-pressure type can homogenize a large amount of sample at once by applying pressure, so it is often used in factories. The ultrasonic type is compact and suitable for homogenizing a small amount of sample, so it was mainly used for scientific experiments, but recently it has become larger and is also used in the manufacturing field.
