What is a Linear stage?
A linear stage is a table mechanism equipped with a linear servo motor. By performing full-closed control using a linear encoder for position detection, it becomes an integrated mechanical and electrical direct drive system that enables precise positioning and operational performance. By combining multiple axes such as the XY axis, which is a combination of two orthogonal axes, the vertical Z axis, and the θ axis of a rotary table, you can create multiple axes such as XY stage, XYZ stage, is possible.
