What is a Electrode holder?

Electrode holders are parts that hold the electrodes of electrode-type level switches. An electrode type level switch is an industrial device that opens and closes an electrical contact by sensing the liquid level in a liquid storage tank. Multiple electrode rods with a weak voltage applied are pointed to the tank, and when they come into contact with the liquid, the electrodes conduct each other and sense the level. Due to the structure of the level switch, the electrodes must be insulated from each other when not in contact with the liquid. The electrode holder is a part that fixes the electrode while insulating it. The electrode holder has a terminal on which the electrode rod and wiring are connected. Depending on the number of electrode rods used in the level switch, products that support 3 to 5 electrode rods are on sale.
