What is a Air chuck?
An air chuck is a mechanical device that clamps and holds a workpiece with a chuck (jaw), similar to the actuators used in pneumatic systems. In general, devices that operate with air pressure are collectively called air chucks. The structure of the device is the same as that of conventional mechanical chucks, and the operation of clamping the workpiece using air pressure is automated.
