What is a Cross clamp?
A cross clamp is a device for fixing poles and rods coupled with various optical elements at a certain angle in an optical system using a laser or the like. There are two types: fixed type and rotary type. In the case of the fixed type, the angle of the rod can be changed to 90 degrees, but in the case of the rotary type, it can be changed to any angle. The method of fixing the rod is called split tightening method, and the rod inserted into the clamp can be pinched from the surroundings and fixed strongly.
