What is a Soft down stay?
A soft down stay is a stay made to come down more slowly than a normal stay. A stay is a device that is attached to a door or lid together with a hinge to generate torque that acts as a resistance to slowly open the door or lid. Stays are usually attached to the doors of large shelves. The soft down stay can be opened and closed more slowly than the normal stay, and it can be kept in the middle of opening, so it is convenient to install it when working with the door open.
