What is a Hydraulic chuck?

A hydraulic chuck is a tool that uses hydraulic power to hold a workpiece. Equipped with jaws (claws) for fixing the workpiece, they can be opened and closed by a rotating cylinder. In general, there are many hollow hydraulic chucks (hollow power chucks) with a through hole in the center. A rod-shaped workpiece can be fixed inside it. By using hydraulic pressure, a large force can be applied to the workpiece via the claws, enabling strong fixing.
