What is a Pallet washer?

A pallet washer is a machine that cleans (dries) pallets (plastic pallets). Used pallets may become dirty, moldy, or have foreign substances mixed in. Therefore, it is necessary to wash the pallets so that the cargo to be loaded is not exposed to an unsanitary environment. Therefore, it takes time and effort to wash by hand. A pallet washer is a machine that, once loaded with pallets, unstacks, cleans, centrifuges, dries, and stacks. There are various types depending on the shape and type of the pallet to be cleaned.

Application of Pallet washer

When stacked pallets are placed in a washing machine, the entire pallet is first washed using a low-pressure, high-water-flow method, while a rotating brush removes all dirt. After washing, the pallet is rotated at high speed to remove water by centrifugal force. Finally, a high-temperature air blow is performed, and the remaining water is drained and dried to complete the process. There are various types, from simple ones that only clean, to large-scale ones that can do everything from cleaning to drying. Equipment is selected according to needs, such as equipment installation space and pallet size.
