What is a Frequency converter?

A frequency converter is a machine that converts a received frequency to any frequency. Frequency is also called the number of vibrations, and refers to the number of times an electric current or radio wave repeats in one second. There are two types of electric current: direct current and alternating current, but power supplies in homes and factories are basically alternating current power supplies that supply current at a fixed frequency. However, some machines require higher or lower frequencies than the power supply. In such a case, a frequency converter converts to any frequency.
