Pressure transmitter / List of 5 manufacturers
What is a Pressure transmitter?
A pressure transmitter is a device that converts any pressure into an electrical signal and transmits it. It is mainly used as a sensor for pressure control. Basically, the signal is converted to an electric signal of DC4-20mA or a pneumatic signal of 20-100kPa and transmitted. However, the adoption of pneumatic signals is on the decline. Gases, liquids, steam, etc. can be cited as targets for pressure measurement. A representative product is the one manufactured by Yokogawa Electric Corporation. In addition, there are two types of pressure transmitters, absolute pressure and relative pressure, which must be used according to the application.
