Gyrotron / List of 1 manufacturers
What is a Gyrotron?
A gyrotron is a vacuum tube device that winds electrons around a magnetic field generated by a superconducting coil, accelerates them with high-speed rotational energy, and converts them into high-power millimeter-wave band microwaves in a cavity resonator. Gyro means "rotation" and uses the CRM phenomenon. This CRM is a phenomenon called "Cyclotron resonance maser (cyclotron resonance maser phenomenon)" in which the kinetic energy of electrons rotated by electromagnetic force is converted into electromagnetic waves called microwaves. The millimeter wave band refers to a radio wave band with a wavelength of 1 mm to 10 mm and a frequency of 30 GHz to 300 GHz.
