What is a Filter press?

A filter press is a device for filtering slurry liquid and separating solid and liquid by squeezing it with a filter. Mainly used for water purification. It has a simple structure and is characterized by the fact that it is relatively easy to increase the processing amount. Since it can be incorporated into the production line, it is often used as a filtration dewatering device. The resulting dehydrated product (cake) has a very low moisture content and very high solid-liquid separation properties. There is also an automatically operated filter press, which can be fully automated from liquid filling to filtration.
