What is a Fixed resistor?
A fixed resistor is one of the basic electronic components that makes it difficult for electricity to flow. It has roles such as adjusting the amount of current flowing through the circuit, dividing the voltage (voltage division), and setting the time constant required for circuit operation. Fixed resistors are basic elements that play a variety of roles in circuits. Resistors include variable resistors whose resistance value can be changed freely and semi-fixed resistors whose resistance value can be adjusted.
