What is a Flight conveyor?
A flight conveyor is a transportation device that consists of a base with chains and belts attached on both sides, and a metal plate called a flight in the center of the base. When driven, the flights move along with the movement of the chains and belts on both sides, pushing out the objects to be transported. Chains and belts are usually hermetically sealed to prevent the substances to be transported from leaking out. Therefore, it is suitable for transporting substances that are difficult to transport, such as substances with a high adhesion rate or substances with a high moisture content.
