Relief valve / List of 6 manufacturers
What is a Relief valve?
A relief valve is a safety device that releases pressure to prevent damage to pipes and equipment when the pressure of a pump or other device becomes abnormal. The valve is closed by the force of the spring under normal pressure, but the valve opens when the pressure inside the pipe becomes stronger than the spring. Relieves pressure by bypassing fuel, oil, air, etc. The opening pressure of the valve is determined by the strength of the spring and the pressure receiving area of the valve. Relief valves must be set correctly and properly maintained. It is important to perform regular inspections and tests to ensure proper operation of the relief valve.
