What is a Globe valve?

A globe valve is one of the valves used in process piping. It is used to fully open/close the flow path and to adjust the flow rate/pressure. In the first place, process piping refers to piping for transporting process fluids such as chemical products. In some cases, special consideration is required, so it is distinguished from piping for transporting working fluids such as fluid machinery.
