What is a Float valve?
A float valve is a stopper made of rubber or plastic used in toilets. They are spherical or hemispherical in shape and act as lids for drain pipes in tanks. This float valve is connected to a lever on the side of the tank by a chain, and operating the lever extends the chain and opens the float valve. When this float valve opens, water flows into the toilet. The float valve is attached to a tubular overflow pipe inside the toilet tank and is not allowed to move.
