What is a Constant flow valve?

A constant flow valve is a control valve used to control the flow rate of a fluid at a constant rate. It is often used to keep the flow rate constant in systems with pressure fluctuations. Useful when a specific flow rate must be maintained or when operation within a certain flow range is desired. Since there is no need for a control device that responds to pressure fluctuations, cost and space savings are achieved. It can be easily installed in the cooling line of building air conditioning equipment and the water supply line in factories. In many cases, no power supply is required, and highly flammable hazardous materials can be handled safely. The set flow rate is pre-determined by the valve, so no field adjustment is required.
