Check valve / List of 8 manufacturers
What is a Check valve?
A check valve (also known as a non-return valve) is used to ensure that fluid flows in only one direction, preventing backflow. The valve opens when the fluid flows in the designated direction and automatically closes when there is backflow to prevent damage. Check valves are commonly used in pump systems and piping to protect equipment from reverse flow. Types of check valves include spring-loaded and weight-assisted valves.
Application of Check valve
✅ Water Supply Systems
Check valves are installed in water supply lines to prevent backflow, ensuring that contaminated water does not flow back into the clean water source.
✅ Pump Systems
In pump systems, check valves are placed at the pump outlets to prevent backflow when the pump stops.
✅ Fuel Supply Systems
Check valves are used in fuel supply lines of vehicles and machinery to prevent backflow of fuel, which could cause damage to the engine.
