Steam trap / List of 4 manufacturers
What is a Steam trap?
A steam trap (British: steam trap) is a device that separates and discharges the drain (droplets) generated in the steam (steam). Factories have pipes with steam flowing through them, and when the pipes come in contact with the outside air and the surface temperature of the pipes drops, the flowing steam is also cooled and drains are generated. If condensate is sent mixed with steam, it collides vigorously at bends such as elbows, causing condensate attack, and the impact may damage the piping. Erosion occurs when condensate hits impellers such as blowers and turbines, so a steam trap can be installed to avoid this.
