What is a airtight sheet?
An airtight sheet is a residential plastic moisture-proof film that is used for construction of an airtight layer in moisture-proof and airtight construction of houses. It plays a role in preventing indoor air and moisture from moving to the outer wall side. During construction, it is important to use sheets so that there are fewer seams. Airtight sheets that have passed tests for moisture permeability, strength, durability, and tear strength using Tucker nails are certified as compliant with JIS standards. In addition to airtight sheets, airtight materials include residential plastic moisture-proof films, moisture-permeable waterproof sheets, plywood/gypsum board, and plastic heat insulators (foamed plastic heat insulators).
