What is a Blank flange?
A blank flange is a kind of piping material used in piping systems. It is mainly used for the purpose of closing the fluid inside the piping. At the production site, it is generally called "Blind Flange" or "Closed Flange". Standards for flanges include JIS, JPI, and ANSI, with JIS being the most widely used in Japan. JPI is a standard issued by the Japan Petroleum Institute and is based on ANSI. Used in petrochemical plants, etc. ANSI is a standard established by the American National Standards Institute and is used when products are imported into the US economy.
