What is a Sealant?

A sealant is a paste material used to fill gaps in buildings to maintain waterproofness and airtightness. It is usually stored in a tube or cartridge, and its function is demonstrated by attaching the container to a special gun, applying it to the relevant area, and curing it. There are two types of sealing agents: one-component products (all components are mixed in advance) and two-component products (two components are kneaded before use). One-component systems include moisture-curing, dry-curing, and non-curing types, while two-component systems are reaction-curing types. In addition, various materials such as silicone and polyurethane are used as raw materials.
