What is a Pipe flange?

A pipe flange is a type of pipe fitting that is a flat, "flange"-shaped plate attached to a pipe or equipment. These parts are used for joining pipes in piping, and joining equipment and pipes. Some flanges are used for purposes other than joining pipes, and are distinguished by adding the word ``pipe'', but they are often called ``flanges'' by omitting the word ``pipe''. Pipe flanges are characterized by easy removal and high sealing. During maintenance, by loosening and removing the bolts and nuts that fasten the pipe flanges together, the joint can be easily released, and the inside of the pipe can be cleaned or cleaned. If all the piping is constructed with welded pipes, maintenance cannot be performed without cutting the pipes.
