What is a UV dryer?
A UV dryer is a dryer that uses the light energy of ultraviolet rays to cure UV resins such as photosensitive inks and paints without using heat, and quickly dries them in about 0.1 to several seconds. Therefore, by changing the type and number of light source lamps used, it is possible to change the specifications to suit the application and purpose. There are various types of lamps such as mercury and metal halide, and the wavelength range of ultraviolet rays emitted differs depending on the light source, so a lamp that emits ultraviolet rays in the wavelength range suitable for the UV resin to be cured is selected and used. A water-cooled UV dryer can be dried at a low temperature by minimizing the heat generated when irradiating with ultraviolet rays.
