What is a Hume tube?
Hume pipe may be an unfamiliar word, but I think most people know it when they hear another name. Another name is sewer pipe. Hume is derived from the surname of the invented brother. The Hume brothers invented the Hume pipe in Australia at the beginning of the 20th century and later introduced it to Japan. The Hume pipe was invented in the area where the Hume brothers lived, and it is said that the root cause was that the pipe was clogged with filth during irrigation and the flow deteriorated.
