What is a Light guide plate?

A light guide plate is an optical component that emits light from the surface by incident a light source such as an LED from the end face of the plate. If the surface of the plate is smooth, the incident light will be totally reflected repeatedly, and the light will escape to the opposite side of the incident. By processing this smooth surface to change the direction of light, it is possible to make the surface emit light. The light guide plate is mainly installed on the back of the ""transmissive liquid crystal"" and is often used in the ""backlight method"" to illuminate the liquid crystal, and a light guide plate with high uniformity that makes the liquid crystal shine evenly is required.
