What is a Rubber seal?
Rubber seals are sealing components made from rubber, primarily used to prevent the leakage of liquids or gases. They are flexible and elastic, making them capable of withstanding pressure and temperature changes. Typically, rubber seals are applied in the joints of mechanical parts, pipes, window frames, and other connections to enhance sealing performance. Due to the properties of rubber, they distribute pressure evenly and are resistant to degradation and wear, allowing them to be used for extended periods. There are various types of rubber seals, such as silicone rubber, EPDM, and NBR, depending on the application. They are widely used in industries like automotive, aerospace, home appliances, and medical devices. Furthermore, rubber seals are easy to process and offer good cost performance.
Application of Rubber seal
1.Automotive Door Seals: Used to seal the gap between the car door and body, preventing water or air intrusion.
2.Water Pipe Seals: Applied at the connections of pipes to prevent leakage.
3.Refrigerator Door Gaskets: Seals the gap in refrigerator doors, preventing the escape of cold air.
