What is a Circuit protector?
A circuit protector is a power breaker for instrumentation. A circuit is an electrical circuit. Therefore, the literal translation of circuit protector is "electric circuit protection device", and it is used for that purpose. In spite of its low capacity, it features a faster breaking speed than general low-pressure breakers. Due to its characteristics, it is mostly used for protection of control circuits and instrumentation circuits. It operates before the low voltage breaker installed on the primary side and protects the upper circuit.
