What is a Magnetic sensor?

A device that detects magnetism is called a magnetometer, and is used to detect magnetism and geomagnetism generated from magnets and electric fields. The magnetic sensor can detect the magnetic vector (magnitude and orientation). Magnetic sensors are roughly divided into Hall sensors that use Hall elements and magnetoresistive element sensors that use reluctance elements (MR). The Hall sensor measures the Hall voltage generated by the Lorentz force generated by the vertical magnetic flux in the element, while the MR sensor measures the ohm resistance generated by the Lorentz force generated by the horizontal magnetic flux in the element.
