What is a Fluid sensor?
Fluids are broadly divided into liquids and gases. Fluid sensors are those that mainly use physical phenomena to detect whether fluids are flowing or whether they exist.
For example, there are level switches that indicate whether or not fluid exists, level meters that indicate the level of the fluid, and flow meters that measure the flow rate of the fluid. Level meters and level switches may also be used for granular materials. A feature of level meters and flow meters is that there are many measurement methods. It is used in such a variety of environments, and there are conditions that match each measurement method.
Application of Fluid sensor
It is often used in chemical and petroleum plants that mainly transfer liquids in pipes or store liquids in tanks. The flow meter records the amount of fluid when it is charged into the tank, sets the charging amount, and performs control operation based on the value of the flow meter. Level gauges are mainly used to continuously measure the amount of fluid remaining in a tank. Level switches, on the other hand, are used to accurately detect the presence of fluid. This is also often used as a sensor for automation.
