What is a flow sensor?
A flow sensor is an electrical device that limits or measures the flow of gas or liquid in a pipe. Commonly called a flow meter. Flow sensors are generally measured while connected to gauges and wiring. It is used by connecting to a personal computer or digital interface. Flow sensors are mainly divided into two types. They are contact and non-contact. The contact type measures the flow rate so that the moving part, which is the sensor part, comes into contact with the gas or liquid and does not create resistance in the piping. The non-contact type has no moving parts and can measure the flow rate of gas or liquid even if contamination occurs in the worst case.
Application of flow sensor
Flow sensors are used to detect liquid leaks and pipe ruptures due to contamination or contamination. Flow sensors are used in a wide range of fields such as automobiles, medical care, buildings, industrial equipment and smart energy. Specific products and systems used include HVAC systems, medical devices, chemical plants and wastewater treatment systems. As an example, in internal combustion engines that inject fuel, flow sensors are used to measure the mass flow of air in the combustion chamber. Since the flow sensor is easy to install, it can be used as described above.
