Differential probe / List of 3 manufacturers
What is a Differential probe?
When measuring a signal with an oscilloscope, a differential probe detects common noise, such as ground vibration, that is generated from sources unrelated to the equipment that is sending the signal, and converts the measurement signal into an amplifier. It is a device for amplifying and making it easier to measure. In communication such as USB and HDMI, it is necessary for the output side to accurately detect the signal. If you use the differential probe incorrectly, you may damage it or you may not get an accurate output, so be careful. Differential probes are often sold by companies that sell oscilloscopes, and they have excellent connectivity.
