What is a Tilt sensor?
A tilt sensor is the most suitable sensor for measuring the tilt (tilt angle and slope) of an object. It is based on gravity and is installed horizontally to measure the tilt. Also called angle sensor, slope sensor, tilt sensor, inclinometer. Strictly speaking, it refers only to the tilt detection part. There are things like inclinometers that add electronics to adjust the inputs and outputs. Due to the damping effect, some of them are able to obtain high reliability and measurement results even in harsh vibration environments. In addition, those with high shock resistance can be used to measure acceleration in mobile machinery, vehicles, aircraft, and construction machinery.
